KEEPING THE DOORS OPEN
In a town of less than 1,000 residents, The Philipsburg Theatre needs to rely on more than good programming in order to stay afloat. Like any operation, The Philipsburg Theatre has fixed costs that must be met. Expenses such heat/utilities, insurance, rent, labor, marketing and costs that go along with paying for talent, films and concessions require us to be proactive in generating revenue through fundraising initiatives, grants and donations.
